"It's easy for a candidate for elective office to say, 'If you elect me, I can do this, and this, and this for the County.'  But it is quite another thing to be the guy who actually has been doing all those things for the County, and has been doing them on a continuous basis for the past 8 years.  The campaign promise which I make to you is this:  If you re-elect me to another term as Utah County Commissioner, I will continue to do the things that have helped Utah County to be named the Best Managed County in the Best Managed State in the Nation, and have helped Utah County to be one of the top counties in the nation in the percentage of new jobs created."
